Dear Storytelling Friends,
Are you ready for a new season of storytelling?
The mornings are getting chilly, the sun is setting earlier, and the leaves are starting to show their glorious colours. It’s almost time to hunker down, stay cosy, and listen to stories.
Because health concerns are still upmost in many people’s minds, we are planning to have our first storytelling session, October 22nd, on zoom – and very likely will continue to do so for the remainder of the year. We’ll be paying close attention to health updates, and will reassess closer to the new year. Much as we miss meeting in person and long for the pleasure of your company, we think it’s best to be cautious. It’s also quite lovely to be able to spend zoom time with friends and storytellers who live outside of Vancouver and might not be able to join us otherwise.
We will send an update closer to the time, but for now, we’d be thrilled if you’d plan to join us for an evening of spirited tales on October 22nd. We’ll start our season by celebrating Canadian Storytelling Day. It’s a little early (the actual day is November 7th), but this way you’ll be able to enjoy yourself at more than one event if you wish!
The theme for Canadian Storytelling Day is:
Raising Spirits: Tales to Cheer and Inspire
Our tellers will be Melanie Ray, Russell Hirsch, and Jennifer Martin.
We will be sending out more information closer to October 22nd – and look forward to seeing you soon.
